The Role

As a

Food & Bev Supervisor

, atRosslea Hall Hotel, we are looking for a positive can-do attitude to drive exceptional standards and guest experience, to help oversee our different food and beverage outlets operations. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service, managing staff, and maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our customers. This is a key leadership position that requires strong organisational skills, excellent customer service, and a passion for the hospitality industry.

Oversee all aspects of the restaurant and bar operations, including inventory control, and maintaining cleanliness and organization

Train and supervise restaurant and bar staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and provide exceptional customer service

Monitor and control costs by implementing effective inventory control measures and minimizing waste

Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between food and beverage service

Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability

Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards

Stay updated on industry trends and new products to continuously improve the bar offerings

Skills:

Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively Supervise a team

Excellent communication skills to interact with staff and customers

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

Experience in team management, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations

Proficient in food preparation techniques and beverage production

Culinary knowledge that complements the menu offerings

Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with bar equipment operation and maintenance

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a bar or restaurant setting is preferred.

Set an example to others in customer service standards, individually within your role and as part of your departmental team

Ensure customers' expectations are met and exceeded and put the needs of the customer first.
