We're Hiring: Food Delivery Driver (Van provided by company)

Location: Birmingham
Pay: 12.21 per hour
Immediate Start

Join our clients' team, which specialises in delivering high-quality food to for corporate catering orders across the city.

What We're Looking For:

Mandatory experience in food handling or contract catering deliveries
Excellent English communication skills
Full and clean UK driving licence

Working Details: Monday to Friday (weekends may be occasional)
Approx. 7 AM - 1 PM (timings may vary by delivery volume)
Delivering to office/corporate clients - punctuality and professionalism are key!

Responsibilities



Operate a delivery van or vehicle to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload items, ensuring safe handling and secure placement within the vehicle. Perform routine checks on the delivery vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with Corporate clients and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time of arrival and any discrepancies. Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including inventory management and organisation of stock.

Qualifications



Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred. Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience driving commercial vehicles is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting, as some deliveries may require moving bulky items. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is beneficial. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
