FOOD PREPARATION / LUNCHTIME NURSERY COOK - part time



Days:

Mon - Fri

Hours:

15 hrs per wk 10.30am-1.30pm

Location:

Sandringham Road, Penylan, Cardiff CF23 5BJ located next to Marlborough Primary School

We are a small private daycare nursery caring for children 2-4 yrs old

You will be preparing and serving lunch for nursery children

Job Role & Requirements



- knowledge and experience of food preparation, kitchen standards and food safety

- understanding of allergens and dietary requirements

- meals are straightforward and prepared daily following a rotating menu including a lunchtime hot meal and fruit

- setting up and cleaning children's eating area

- maintaining a clean, tidy kitchen

A suitable candidate needs to be able to work independently, proactive and take charge. Experience with young children would be an advantage

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 12.25 per hour

Work Location: In person
