Due to our business growing we are searching for Food Production operators to join our amazing team.

- Machine operators and skilled bakers wanted

Rogerstone- NP10 9FQ

HOURS OF WORK: 39.38 hours a week Average.

Shift Pattern: Rotating Days 2 days then 2 Nights- 4 ON 4 OFF, 06:00am-18:00pm/18:00pm-06:00am. These are 12 hours shifts which includes weekends & bank holidays.

Rate of pay: Starting 13.22 per hour for skilled operators with the potential to increase this through our grading system via training and appraisals.

Please note - this role is shift Work, Successful candidates will need to be 18 years +

is a fully automated bread plant, which produces a range of loaves for some of the leading supermarkets across the U.K. We are presently looking to recruit a small number of food production operatives to join the team, to assist in the automotive process of producing, picking and packing our products ready for store delivery.

A 12 week trial period, with the view to make permanent for the right candidates.

The role will suit candidates who have worked for a small or medium company and are willing to work in a hands-on varied role. Previous Food Industry experience is desirable.

Daily Responsibilities

Weighing up Ingredients.

Quality checking of products/packaging

Being aware and responding to machinery alarms

Operating machinery-Line set-up/Slicing/Stacking/Mixing

Pulling/Pushing Stacks

Picking/packing finished products to strict deadlines.

Following customer specification guidelines

Being proactive to get the best results

Be able to react effectively to various challenges on a day to day basis

Complying with Food Safety/ Health & Safety requirements.

Clean as you go within working area.

Being able to use your own initiative

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 27,072.00 per year
