We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Duties

Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Ensure that meals are presented beautifully and meet the restaurant's quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in dining areas. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service flow. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Support the team by helping with various tasks during busy periods, including assisting in food safety practices.

Skills

Experience as a food runner is essential. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Basic culinary knowledge, including food preparation techniques and meal assembly. Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in a kitchen environment. Ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant setting while maintaining attention to detail. A proactive attitude towards helping colleagues and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
