Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runners to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.

Duties

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Assist servers by ensuring that all necessary items are available for each table. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area and service stations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and presentation of dishes. Support bussing duties by clearing tables and resetting them for new guests. Adhere to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times. Communicate effectively with team members to enhance guest satisfaction. Assist in food preparation as needed, demonstrating culinary skills when required.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential. Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest services. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with guests and team members effectively.
