Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced North Indian restaurant environment. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately. Ensure that all orders are correct before serving to guests. Assist in food preparation when necessary, maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service during busy periods. Provide excellent guest services by responding to customer inquiries and requests promptly. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area and assist with resetting tables as needed. Collaborate with delivery drivers to ensure timely dispatch of take-away orders.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
