We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services while ensuring a clean and efficient food preparation environment. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality culinary experiences, adhering to food safety standards, and contributing to a positive atmosphere for both guests and staff.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding guest services by engaging with customers and addressing their needs promptly. Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all dishes are prepared according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to strict food safety guidelines. Utilise basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively. Demonstrate time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours. Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the dining experience and promote menu items. Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment, fostering a spirit of hospitality and teamwork. Assist with kitchen duties as required, including cleaning equipment and utensils.

Experience

Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with food safety practices is advantageous. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for interacting with guests. Basic culinary skills or knowledge of food preparation techniques will be beneficial. A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment is crucial for success in this role.

Pay: 12.50 per hour
