The Dalmeny Resort Hotel is a leading Fylde Coast hotel with a reputation for great customer experience. As a casual Food and Beverage Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work flexible hours and in a variety of roles. This role offers a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic team at one of Lytham St Anne's premier hotels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere to all guests, delivering excellent customer service across our food and beverage outlets.
Assist with setting up dining areas, including preparing tables, chairs, and condiments before service.
Take food and drink orders from guests, relay them accurately to the kitchen or bar staff, and serve orders promptly.
Serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, ensuring the correct preparation and presentation.
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
Handle room charges and card transactions accurately, ensuring proper billing and payment procedures.
Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and guests.
Support the team with any additional tasks, including general cleaning duties and event setups when required.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in food and beverage service is an advantage, but not essential.
Friendly, approachable, and professional manner with a strong customer service focus.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with guests in a positive and helpful manner.
Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
Basic knowledge of food and drink service, with a willingness to learn more about the hospitality industry.
A strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
