The Role
As a
Customer Service Assistant
, you will be the face of Mays Jewellers, playing a key role in delivering excellent service to our customers. Whether assisting customers in finding the perfect piece of jewellery or managing enquiries related to pawn transactions, you will contribute to a welcoming and professional environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about customer service and the jewellery and pawnbroker industry.
The ideal candidate will have a
positive and friendly attitude
, an understanding of retail, sales targets, add-on sales and KPIs.
An experience of working in retail or with jewellery, diamonds and watches would be desirable however the
right personality
with a
passion for sales, visual merchandising
and
teamwork
is just as important.
You will be expected to present yourself, the store and the Company impeccably and help drive it forward through achieving sales and your understanding of customer requirements.
In addition to keeping the store looking great, an undertaking of general housekeeping and admin is necessary.
At Mays, we believe that attention to detail is paramount and whilst
full training will be given
, the suitable candidate will have
excellent numeracy and literacy skills
, an understanding or experience of data entry through a company computer system and the ability to create and maintain accurate records.
