The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified

Food Technology Teacher (QTS)

to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and practical lessons that promote creativity, technical skills, and a strong understanding of nutrition and food science.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum. Encourage students to develop practical cooking skills, food safety awareness, and an understanding of healthy eating. Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback. Manage classroom resources, including maintaining a safe and hygienic food tech environment. Contribute to extracurricular activities, such as cooking clubs or school events. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Design & Technology curriculum.

We Are Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

with experience teaching Food Technology. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for food education. The ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
