To assist within a team in the efficient operating of the store on a daily basis, ensuring that high standards of customer service are achieved at all times and in accordance with the hot food training standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
To ensure quality products are prepared, baked and sold at all times in accordance with store training standards.
To foster good team work and harmony with colleagues and customers alike.
To use equipment provided safely and appropriately according to the in store training standards and to observe and comply with Company Health and Safety regulations in relation to providing a safe working environment both for fellow employees and customers.
Make oneself aware and have good knowledge of the menu in store.
Ensure a high standard of Personal Hygiene is maintained and observe the Company Dress Code to comply with Food Safety Regulations.
Ensure personal time keeping and attendance.
To continually check on your customer offer, adhere to the compliance elements and reset this area to the standard you have been carefully trained to.
Ensure unnecessary wastage of in store products according to in store training standards set.
Ensure all stock is stored properly according to training standards.
Maintain a clean tidy environment at all times as per training standards.
Quote prices and persuade people to buy food from the hot food department in store as per training standards.
To carry out all functions deemed legal and compliant according to the training standards.
Maintain performance and quality of work under pressure in pursuit of optimum customer satisfaction.
To address any customer queries or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
To report and record any accidents, Dangerous Occurrence or near miss to a member of management in line with Company Procedure.
To carry out any tasks or duties as deemed appropriate by management.
