Catering Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dynamic team of Sandwich Makers. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our catering services which is predominantly Food to Go! providing exceptional standards. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for food and who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items in accordance with food safety standards.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including kitchen and production spaces. Help with the breakdown and clean-up after each shift, ensuring all equipment and working spaces are properly Cleaned. Collaborate with team members and other staff to ensure timely delivery of items produced. Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering or food settings is preferred but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others as part of a team. Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
