We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Football Manager to lead our academy team and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a passion for teaching, ensuring that our staff are well-trained and equipped to deliver exceptional service. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive work environment while achieving organisational goals.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations and ensure the team meets performance targets. Develop and implement training programmes to enhance academy players skills and knowledge. Monitor team performance, providing feedback and support to encourage professional growth. Foster a collaborative atmosphere that promotes teamwork and communication among coaching staff. Manage scheduling, ensuring adequate staffing levels for optimal service delivery. Managing the yearly budget. Address any issues or conflicts within the team promptly and effectively. Prepare reports on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Have weekly meetings with the club secretary, to provide a run down on any and all vital information.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities with a focus on motivating and guiding a diverse team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with staff at all levels. Proficient in organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A background in coaching or training is highly desirable, demonstrating an ability to convey information clearly and effectively. Problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges as they arise. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining focus on key objectives.
