Seren Kids is seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team in our Guildford location as a Football Coach.

This position is a part-time/freelance position that is a with weekly hours variable. (Tuesday and Thursday's 4:00pm - 5:30pm) Opportunity to work afterschool clubs in the same area Monday, Wednesday and Friday for the right candidate.

About the Role:

Plan and deliver age-appropriate football sessions that are fun, safe, and inclusive. Foster a supportive learning environment where children can develop confidence and a love for the sport. Focus on developing children's physical literacy, teamwork, and technical football skills. Provide constructive feedback on performance and fitness, and set targets to help players improve and meet their own individual goals.

Duties Include:

Maintain a safe environment for children by following health and safety standards. Assist children with completing the different activities whilst on site. Promote a healthy lifestyle, kindness and teamwork by providing positive peer support and positive peer interactions.

Qualifications

UEFA C/B (highly desirable) Sports related qualifications Experience in sports coaching, teaching, childcare or similar environments Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and staff Background in teaching, education, sports, childcare, youth work or similar environments Previous roles working with children are preferred Demonstrated ability to provide fun, nurturing and support in a safe manner to children DBS certified or willing to undergo checks. First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications desirable
