Job Description
What will the apprentice be doing?
Responsible for coaching groups of 12 - 15 children on a weekly basis. You will be in charge of their training programmes and developing young footballers. You will coach 1-1 training sessions for young footballers looking at strength's and weaknesses of each player and how they can improve their game. You will be shadowing highly experienced football coaches learning from them taking notes on how they deliver sessions and the content they deliver.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
The program will consist of online training, webinars, practical workshops and workplace visits from the tutor.
On completion you will achieve a level 4 sports coach qualification.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Full time position on completion and further progression with the company
Working week
The shifts will be between 12pm - 8pm Monday to Fridays (varied hours)
Saturdays 8:30am - 1:30pm
Total hours per week: 30
