Essex Professional Coaching is a sport, activity and education provider that has been providing football coaching, childcare and holiday club provision across Essex since 2017.

Our football holiday club provision runs across 6 different locations, providing fun, safe and engaging sessions for children to be able to learn how to play the game and to develop their skills in an encouraging environment.

As a holiday club football coach your roles and responsibilities will include:



Planning, preparing and delivering activities for children aged 4-12 with the support of our internal coaching resources Creating a fun, engaging, safe and inclusive environment through your delivery Encouraging, supporting and giving feedback to children to support them in developing their skills Ensuring all policies and procedures at the club are adhered to by yourself and the children in your care Work collaboratively within a team environment to share ideas, solicit feedback from parents and to coach individuals during each club day

To be considered for the role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

Enthusiastic, passionate and caring personality A commitment to delivering high quality, engaging football activities that are fun for children Effective time management and punctuality skills Ability to effectively communicate with both young people and adults A team player

Skills and experience



Have previous experience of coaching football and working with children between 4 - 12 years of age in a school or holiday camp setting Be able to adapt delivery and structure of an activity according to age and ability of the individuals within a group Have driving licence, own transport, and be prepared to travel up to 30 mins (required) Hold a football coaching qualification (required) Hold first aid/emergency aid certification (desired)

Interview Stages



After shortlisting has taken place, we adopt a 2 stage interview process:

1. Telephone Interview - To go through the role and get to know you better

2. Practical Day - You will be required to deliver a football session with a group of children at one of our weekly sessions

Successful applicants will then be provided with a job offer via telephone and this will be followed up with email confirmation and a full induction

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 10.00-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.5 - 37.5 per week
