What is the role?
We are looking for someone who can deliver high quality coaching programmes within the Football & Sports Development department in the UK & International Football Programmes department; aiming to engage, develop and create an enjoyable learning environment among participants of all abilities in schools and the community, and ensuring that all delivery is 'best in class'.
What will you be doing?
You will be delivering Physical Education in primary schools, educating and teaching students The Southampton Way, as well as the National Curriculum. You will also be a lead deliverer in our female football programme and look to help grow female football participation.
There is also the opportunity to be a lead deliverer on our football residential courses, staying overnight when needed. We also want you to retain high levels of participants, whilst ensuring the customer experience is excellent for all parties, including partners, parents/guardians and players.
You will also liaise with the Football & Sports Development Officer to ensure delivery and player reports are completed and will help to identify development opportunities within the department.

Previous experience leading curriculum physical education delivery.
Experience in leading & delivering to large football centres, camps and managing other coaches on site.
Knowledge of Club Community Organisations and Football & Sports Development Programmes.
A strong knowledge of Southampton FC's FDSC programme and how we can use the 'Southampton Way' values to promote our paid provisions.
Have excellent knowledge of both school sports and youth football.
afPE 1st4sport Level 3 Certificate in Physical Education and School Sport.
Hold a minimum FA Level one in Football Coaching qualification.
Experience in managing football teams, at both children and youth level.
Hold a minimum FA Level Two in Football Coaching qualification.
UKCC Level 1/2 Coaching qualification or equivalent in a variety of sports.
Hold degree in relevant subject min of 3 years industry experience.
afPE 1st4sport Level 5 Certificate in Physical Education and School Sport.
