The Role
Oversee laser cutting, folding, machining, fabrication, kitting, welding, assembly, and product dispatch.
Oversee and manage labour schedules.
Oversee weekly stock takes to ensure materials ordering is timely.
Lead morning toolbox meetings to discuss plans of the day, work instructions, quality, and safety.
Lead continuous improvement and implement production flow and waste reduction improvements.
Lead problem solving discussions, read and interpret drawings, and ensure works products are complete and correct.
Oversee housekeeping and tool maintenance.
Oversee and facilitate training, adherence, and improvements to standard works instructions.
Requirements
Trade Qualification
3 years or more of proven experience as a manufacturing Foreman.
Trades background is desirable or engineering.
