Foreman



We require a full-time ground works Foreman to run a two to three-man squad for a medium sized ground works company in fife. Candidate should have all types of groundworks experience and a good knowledge of concrete would be preferred but not essential.

The successful applicants will ideally have the following skills & experience:

The post requires a current CSCS skills card Optional CPCS or NPORS card (Dumper, Roller, 360 Excavator) Full UK driving licence

Hours of work

:

43.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 7.30-5pm, Friday 7.30 - 3.30pm (1st Apr - 25th Oct)

39 Hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8.00-4.30pm, Friday 8.00-3.30pm (26th Oct - 31st Mar)

Overtime may be required on certain jobs.

Salary:

Dependant on experience plus pension and 28 days holiday. Relevant training courses will be given where necessary.

Responsibilities



Hold a valid CSCS card and driving licence to ensure compliance with site regulations and transportation needs. Collaborate with team members to execute projects efficiently and safely. Conduct site assessments and prepare work areas for construction activities. Adhere to health and safety standards while performing tasks. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly. Assist in the training of new staff on safety practices and operational procedures.
