to join our team on a major project for a Tier One client near Inverness. You'll assist in managing site activities, supervising operatives, and ensuring that all works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise site operatives and subcontractors on daily tasks.
Assist in planning and coordinating works to meet project deadlines.
Ensure compliance with UK Health & Safety and CDM Regulations.
Oversee road and drainage installations, kerbing, and surfacing works.
Check quality of workmanship and adherence to design specifications.
Support the Works Manager and Senior General Foreman in reporting and progress tracking.
Maintain accurate site diaries and daily records.
Encourage safe working practices and a positive site culture.
Requirements:
Experience as a Foreman or Ganger within highways, drainage, or civil engineering projects.
Good understanding of road construction and drainage methods.
Knowledge of Section 278/38 works and local authority standards.
SMSTS & Gold CSCS or above.
Full UK driving licence.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
