About the role
AIS Vanguard Limited are looking for reliable, experienced Fitters & Riggers to work from our Scottish Branch based in Bellshill. Works are primarily in the Central Belt of Scotland, but cover works throughout Scotland, the UK & Europe. Some travel will be required.
The work involved is typically machinery installations/removals, factory moves, heavy or technical lifting projects or any project requiring the movement of machinery, plant and associated ancillaries.
The content of the projects can include any or all the following disciplines: - heavy lifting, mechanical assembly/disassembly, electrical works, industrial pipework, shipping, packing, demolition or any other required activity.
Group wide you would be joining a professional company currently employing over 200 skilled staff throughout the UK and Europe.

Main Duties
Working to pre-prepared RAMS
Adhering to relevant health & safety rules & requirements
Correct use of tools & lifting/handling equipment
Assembly & disassembly of machinery, plant & equipment
Jacking, skating, hoisting, skidding various loads
Working within set time budgets
Complete relevant company paperwork relating to safety & assets
Ensuring the correct presentation of yourself & your equipment
