to lead operations on a busy chemical site. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity, and coordinating with various teams to deliver projects on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision:
Lead and manage fabrication projects & teams including, welders, fabricators, and pipe fitters.
Work Planning:
Coordinate daily work schedules, manpower, and material requirements in line with project timelines.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure all fabrication work meets required specifications, standards, and client expectations.
Health & Safety:
Enforce site safety protocols, conduct toolbox talks, and promote a safety-first culture.
Resource Management:
Monitor usage of tools, equipment, and materials to ensure efficiency and cost control.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate daily progress reports and communicate updates to project managers and stakeholders.
Problem Solving:
Address site issues promptly to avoid delays and support technical troubleshooting.
Compliance:
Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and documentation requirements.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a General Foreman or similar supervisory role in a fabrication environment.
Strong knowledge of piping & fabrication processes, materials, and safety standards.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Experience with structural steel, pipework, or metal fabrication.
