About the Role

Regent Care Recruitment is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and professional

Forensic Support Worker

to join our client's specialist team. You will work within a secure or semi-secure environment, supporting individuals with complex mental health needs, challenging behaviours, or forensic backgrounds.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a structured, high-support setting and is passionate about helping others rehabilitate and reintegrate into the community.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality support and supervision to service users in forensic settings. Assist individuals in developing daily living skills, managing emotions, and building independence. Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and care plans in line with organisational policies. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, psychologists, and social workers. Promote safeguarding, dignity, and respect at all times. De-escalate challenging situations calmly and professionally.

Requirements

Previous experience in a

mental health

,

secure

, or

forensic

environment (preferred). Strong understanding of

risk management

and

positive behaviour support

.

Caring, resilient

, and

empathetic

nature. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Flexible and reliable - able to work shifts, including nights and weekends. Up-to-date

DBS check

(or willingness to apply). Relevant

NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care

(advantageous).
