Forest Lead
to help us establish and grow our Forest School provision, which we aim to accredit during 2026.
The Role
Plan and deliver inspiring
Forest School sessions
tailored to SEND learners and those referred from local schools and authorities.
Lead some
curriculum-linked sessions
in partnership with
Amegreen Education Schools (primary and secondary)
-- supporting literacy, numeracy, science and personal development outdoors.
Support children with diverse needs through
inclusive, restorative practice
and effective
behaviour management strategies
.
Carry out
risk-benefit assessments
, maintain equipment, and ensure health and safety standards are met.
Play a key role in shaping Stable Futures'
Forest School journey
towards accreditation.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Qualified at
Level 3 Forest School Leader
(or willing to complete by 2026).
Experienced in working with children with
SEND/SEMH
, ideally within an alternative provision.
Skilled in
behaviour support
and inclusive teaching approaches.
Creative, resilient, and reflective in adapting outdoor learning for all.
A confident communicator, able to work in partnership with schools, families, and external agencies.
