Hours:

41.25 hours per week, 4 days minimum OR Job Share 21 hours per week, 2 days minimum



Days/Times:

Monday to Friday between 7:45 am and 5:30 pm (flexible)



Salary:

Starting at

12.21 per hour, PAYE reviews in 2025 and 2026.



Location: GroWild Kindergarten, Unit 3 Sapphire House, Roundtree Way, Sprowston, Norwich, Norfolk, NR7 8SQ.

About the Role



As a Forest School Early Years Educator at GroWild, you'll play a vital role in our mission to nurture the next generation of explorers. You'll be part of a team that values a child centred approach, the power of outdoor learning, and the magic of nature in fostering curiosity, confidence, and growth in our little ones.

Your Areas of Responsibility:



Child Centred Engagement: Create a nurturing environment that supports child led, play based learning, helping children develop outdoor skills, resilience and social awareness.

High Standards of Care and Education: Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards, providing specialised support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and ensuring every child has equal opportunities.

Parent Partnership: Build strong relationships with families, offering regular feedback and fostering collaboration to support each child's development.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:



Experience: Recent and relevant experience in childcare (volunteer and/or paid), with a minimum Level 3 childcare qualification.

Team Player: Strong team working ethos with excellent communication skills.

Commitment to Outdoor Learning: Willingness to embrace and champion the Forest School ethos, with a positive, proactive attitude.

Desired Qualifications/Commitment to Undertake:



Forest School/Outdoor Education Experience

Paediatric First Aid Certificate

Food Hygiene Certificate

Safeguarding Training
