About the Role
As a
Venue Lead
, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of our Wraparound Care & as Forest School lead you'll be leading provision in local primary schools. You'll plan and deliver creative, play-based learning experiences indoors and outdoors, rooted in our values of
Safety, Care, Pride and Perform
.
You'll lead a small team to deliver high-quality childcare that's active, imaginative, inclusive and packed with adventure.
What You'll Do
Deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with Forest School and wraparound care principles
Create a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, cared for, and inspired
Lead outdoor sessions that foster confidence, curiosity, and teamwork
Prepare healthy snacks and support mealtimes in line with health and safety standards
Manage the daily operation of the provision, including registers, ratios, and safeguarding
Maintain a safe and stimulating setting in all weather conditions
Communicate confidently with parents and school staff, building positive relationships
What We're Looking For
You might already have experience in childcare, outdoor learning, or youth work or you might be new to the sector but have a passion for working with children and the right mindset to learn and grow.

Is creative, playful, and child-centred
Has strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Can lead and motivate a team
Understands the value of nature-based learning
Is confident planning and delivering both structured and free-play activities
Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice

Requirements
A minimum of 1 year's experience working with children (desirable)
Level 2 or 3 in Childcare, Forest School, Play work or related field
Enhanced DBS Check (required -- we can support with this if needed)
A love of the outdoors and a willingness to work in all weather
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.51-15.00 per hour
