Forest School Leader, Early Years Trained (Full-Time)

Location: Tinkerbells Nursery Ltd 'The Bridgeinn'

Hours: 7:30 am - 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience

Reports to: Manager / Assistant Manager

About the Role

As a Forest School practitioner, early years trained, you'll play a key role in supporting children's development and well being through engaging, play-based learning in our extensive outdoor area. You'll work closely with our experienced team to deliver the EYFS curriculum in a nurturing and imaginative way. We're looking for someone who is caring, creative, and proactive -- a practitioner who puts children at the centre of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.

Plan and deliver engaging, child-led activities indoors and outdoors.

Support children's learning, language development, and curiosity.

Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers.

Follow all safeguarding, health, and safety procedures.

Requirements

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare

Level 2 or 3 qualification in Forest school Education

Minimum 1 year of experience in early years or nursery setting.

Strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development.

Awareness of paediatric first aid and allergy response procedures.

Commitment to food allergy and intolerance safety.

A reflective, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.

Additional Information

Full-time position, Monday to Friday, between 7:30 am - 6:00 pm. Two references and an enhanced DBS check will be required before starting.
