The Role

Plan and lead engaging Forest School sessions Create hands-on, nature-based learning opportunities Encourage exploration, risk-taking and imaginative outdoor play Track children's developmental progress and support individual needs Build strong relationships with parents and carers Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety Work collaboratively with the nursery team to create an inspiring outdoor environment

Requirements

Level 3 Forest School Leader qualification (desired)

and

Level 3 (or above) Early Years qualification (essential)

Training for the Forest School qualification can be funded for the right candidate

Experience working with young children (e.g. Nursery Practitioner, EY Practitioner, Forest School Assistant) Strong understanding of child development Passion for outdoor learning and nature-based education Excellent communication and teamwork skills Knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted standards
Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid required (or willingness to obtain).
