Responsibilities



Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records of their development. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and maintain high standards of care. Manage behaviour in a positive manner, promoting social skills and emotional well-being among children. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting.

Qualifications



Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential. Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English. A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their needs. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential for this role.
