Summary

We are seeking a dedicated General Operative to join our dynamic team at G&S TYRE SERVICES LTD in . In this role, you will play a vital part in our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient handling of tyres and related materials to support our company's mission of excellence and reliability.

Responsibilities

Manage warehouse activities using our warehouse management system to ensure accurate inventory control. Load and unload tyres and materials safely and efficiently. Operate forklifts and other equipment to move stock within the warehouse. Assist with equipment repair and maintenance as needed. Handle shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely deliveries. Support materials handling tasks, including heavy lifting. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

Proven experience with warehouse management systems. Full UK driving licence Valid forklift license is preferred. Strong physical ability for heavy lifting. Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is advantageous. Good understanding of basic math for inventory counting. Prior warehouse experience is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
