Overview

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team in our warehouse facility. The candidate will have experience operating forklifts and handling materials efficiently. Our site has 4 large warehouses that cater to various customers, we offer storage solutions, RHD services, and fulfilment.

Responsibilities

Carrying out daily forklift checks Operating forklifts as authorised & required Unloading delivery vehicles and following the goods inwards systems Picking component stock to complete stock request emails Loading 3rd party vehicles with collections/despatch and loads out Carrying out checks on 'incoming delivery vehicles' and 'outgoing delivery vehicles' and completing the relevant BRC paperwork. General stock taking as and when required Covering despatch as required Preparation of premises for next day's work. Report any FLT repairs that are necessary Protecting all company assets. Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Forklift Operator is essential - a Counterbalance licence is a requirement as a minimum Previous experience of stick handling is essential - previous use of ride on pallet trucks would be advantageous Proficiency in using warehouse management systems Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures Strong materials handling skills Capability to perform load and unload tasks efficiently
We're looking for 1 new team members to join us, the roles do include rota'd weekends, our business is open every day through the year and Bank Holidays are worked on a rota basis.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 13.00 per hour
