Job Overview:



We are seeking a reliable

Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver

to join our warehouse team. This position involves a combination of warehouse tasks, including operating forklifts to move materials, managing inventory, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our e-waste recycling process. The ideal candidate will have a valid forklift license and experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Forklift Operation:

Safely operate forklifts to transport, stack, and organise e-waste materials within the warehouse.

Inventory Management:

Assist with stock checks, inventory management, and materials handling. Ensure the accurate documentation of materials received and dispatched.

Warehouse Support:

Assist with the loading and unloading of e-waste shipments. Sort and separate materials for recycling as required.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Maintain a clean and organised warehouse.

General Warehouse Duties:

Perform other tasks as needed, such as packaging, labelling, and assisting with sorting and processing e-waste materials.

Qualifications:



Valid Forklift License

(required)

Previous warehouse or logistics experience

preferred Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently Strong attention to detail and organisational skills Familiarity with safety protocols and environmental regulations in the waste or recycling industry

Full UK driving license

(preferred) Ability to lift heavy items (up to

50 lbs

) and work in a physically demanding environment

Team player

with good communication skills
