About us
Leengate Metals was formed in 1990 and are a mulit metal stockholder and distributer based in Nottingham, with distribution sites in Northants and the west midlands.
Job Overview:
We are looking for experienced Forklift/Warehouse operatives to handle both goods in and goods out.
The main duties would be Picking/Packing orders, loading/unloading vehicles and general warehouse duties.
The role will also include using our polycoating machines and shunting of our HGV's at the end of the shift, full training would be provided.
With both the size and delicate nature of our products, we are looking for FLT operatives who are experienced in handling large palletised goods, ideally sheet metal.
Candidates must be comfortable with manual handling up to 25kgs and being on their feet for sustained periods.
The ideal candidate will be used to working in a fast paced environment but with care and attention to detail being the priority.
Working hours are 1pm-9pm Mon-Thu and 1pm-8pm on Fridays. However, during busy periods the job will require later finishes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.50 per hour
