Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves handling materials, operating equipment, and supporting the efficient management of warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have previous warehouse experience, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety. Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and process shipments. Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including documentation and verification of incoming and outgoing items. Use forklift trucks and other machinery to move heavy or bulky items safely around the warehouse. Handle materials with care, following safety protocols to prevent damage or injury. Organise stock storage areas for easy access and inventory management. Support mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment as needed. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics environments. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS). Ability to load & unload goods efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment repair and troubleshooting. Proficient in materials handling techniques and the use of forklifts (licence preferred). Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for inventory accuracy. Basic mathematical skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities. Physical strength for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks. Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and documentation requirements. This position is essential for maintaining smooth warehouse operations, ensuring timely deliveries, and supporting overall supply chain efficiency. The successful candidate will be organised, safety-conscious, and ready to contribute effectively within a team environment. Forklift License to operate a telehandler.

Pay: 15.00-20.00 per hour
