Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our newly opening warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for various logistics and materials handling tasks within our warehouse environment. Prior warehouse experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.

Duties

Load and unload goods efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual handling techniques Manage stock levels and organise storage areas to optimise space utilisation Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all items are correctly documented and stored Handle materials with care, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times Support the team in maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Use mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor equipment issues when necessary

Experience

Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided Familiarity with warehouse management systems is desirable Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently during daily operations Basic math skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation purposes
This role requires a proactive attitude, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to safety standards and possess the physical capability necessary for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing.

Due to the location your own transport would be required. Warehouse is located at Multipark Stanton IP31 2BG

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.18-15.28 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
