We're looking for an experienced

Forklift Truck Driver

to join the yard team at our Kings Langley branch. This is a fast-paced, practical role at the heart of our operation, supporting customers, suppliers and colleagues to keep everything running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating a forklift to pick, load and unload vehicles. Assisting customers, suppliers and delivery drivers on site. Picking orders manually and handling heavy materials where required. Keeping the yard clean, organised and safe, with high standards of presentation. Managing stock rotation and highlighting shortages or issues. Carrying out daily checks on plant and machinery and reporting defects or H&S concerns. Working closely with the wider yard team to maintain an efficient operation.

What we're looking for

Valid forklift licence and experience operating a forklift. Previous experience working in a builders' merchant environment. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling. Good communication skills and attention to detail. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Strong awareness of safety procedures. Eligible to work in the UK.

What we offer

Salary of

31,000 per year

. Hours:

7am-5pm Monday to Friday, 7am-12pm alternate Saturdays

21 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays
