We are seeking a skilled and versatile professional to join our team in the role of Formwork Carpentry. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of technical skills and practical experience, contributing to various construction, maintenance, and repair projects. Duties

Utilise welding techniques to join metal components accurately and securely. Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out construction and repair tasks. Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site. Perform carpentry tasks, including framing, fitting, and finishing work. Undertake heavy lifting safely to move materials or equipment as required for various projects. Drive commercial vehicles, such as lorries or vans, to transport materials or personnel between sites. Execute masonry work, including bricklaying, stone setting, and concrete pouring. Assist in maintaining safety standards and ensuring the workspace remains organised and hazard-free.

Skills

Proven experience with welding techniques across different materials. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely. Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to construction or maintenance environments. Competence in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or related trades is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during demanding tasks. Valid commercial driving licence for operating large vehicles or lorries. Good understanding of safety procedures and ability to adhere strictly to health & safety regulations. Physical fitness suitable for manual labour tasks over extended periods. This role requires a dedicated individual capable of working independently or as part of a team, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Candidates should be committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all aspects of their work.
