Job Description


We are seeking a Foundation Learning lecturer to join our highly successful department who will specialise in working with young people to support them to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and experienced in creating a supportive learning environment for young people who need a positive experience of education. Many of the students in the department have SEND and may have an EHCP so the successful candidate will need to have a range of skills and strategies to support the needs of individual young people.

As a Foundation Learning Course lecturer you must possess the necessary qualifications, skills, and/or experience to deliver innovative and creative learning, and assessment.

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: Spine point 21-33: \xc2\xa324,839 - \xc2\xa335,001 per annum

Closing Date: Thursday 13th July 2023

Interview Date:: Monday 17th July 2023 29th August 2023

Start Date: (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks)

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A Degree
  • A Professional teaching qualification (see person specification) and/or have significant industry experience
  • Level 2 maths and English
  • Relevant successful teaching experience
  • Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of IT tools
