Four Day, Live Out, Nanny, Great Kimble, Buckinghamshire

Great Kimble, Buckinghamshire, United Kingdom

Job Description

A wonderful live-out, nanny position has become available, working with a professional, friendly, and happy family in Great Kimble, Buckinghamshire. As the parents each work from home two to three days a week, this will be a shared care role. The family is seeking a kind and energetic nanny who will have fun with the children and feel like part of the family.

The hours will be Tuesday to Friday, 07.30-10.30 returning for the afternoon to pick up the children from school at 15.00-20.00 (32 hours). There will be the possibility of shifting the hours a little during school holidays. Any additional hours needed, will be mutually agreed upon separately and paid as over time.

You will be looking after two active, bright and happy children; a little girl aged nearly five and her brother who is two and a half years old. The eldest will be starting reception in September and the youngest goes to nursery four days a week (full-time). The children like to have fun outside in the garden, going to the park, playing imaginary games as well as indoor activities like arts and crafts, play doh, baking, reading stories and singing songs.

As well as collecting the children from school, nursery or their clubs, you will have some time in the morning at home to help keep them organised. This includes tasks such the children\'s laundry, keeping their bedrooms and playroom organised and tidy, ensuring they have everything they need for the next day (uniform prepared, etc) and keeping on top of any school admin. Although there are fortnightly cleaners, any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated (keeping the kitchen tidy, emptying the dishwasher, running the occasional errand, unloading the online shopping delivery, etc).

In the school holidays, the parents would like you to take the children on fun and educational day trips and activities, meeting up with their friends to help them to socialise, keeping them happy and safe at all times.

You will be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals for the children each day, preferably homemade whenever possible. It would be appreciated on some days, if you could cook a little more, so that Mum and Dad could have some too. At the end of the day, you will leave all used rooms tidy, ready for the parents to take over.

You should be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.
