Join the Close Brothers Finance Team where you will work closely with a dynamic team of finance professionals helping to drive the performance of the business through insightful analysis and pro-active business partnering.


Our ideal team member will have previous experience in the preparation of monthly management account information, budgeting and bi-monthly forecasting data, alongside the production of monthly business MI and reporting with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES



Support the month-end cost management process through timely variance analysis, processing of journals and accruals to ensure the accuracy of the P&L Work closely with Financial Control team to support during month-end reporting cycle and also provide support during interim reporting and annual audit Provide month end variance analysis and performance versus targets Production of monthly Finance packs for various committees, including Management Committee (UK and CFCI), Portfolio Review Board and Steering Committees as required Drive analysis of cost performance, allowing for clear reporting on how the business is operating and why it is performing in such a way Refine and improve existing processes and challenge outputs to create relevant and value-adding analysis Support the Sales Business Partner with analysis and reporting requirement such as, but not limited to Sales target management, territory changes and trend analysis

WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:



The ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable items Intermediate MS Office packages, Excel and PowerPoint. Evidence of taking ownership and ability to prioritise and deal with a wide range of business requirements, as well as usual activities at the same time to meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills; able to influence others. Excellent written and oral communication An ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment Either of the following qualifications: AAT (full or part qualified)/Relevant degree (e.g. Finance / Accounting)

IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE:



Experience of SAP and/or Alteryx Experience of the Financial Services or Automotive sectors Experience managing costs
