Responsibilities

Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, with a focus on identifying key drivers, trends, and future implications for the business. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and a shared understanding of performance outcomes. Conduct detailed financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives, business planning, and investment decisions, translating outputs into clear insights and recommendations. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide forward-looking analysis and actionable insights to improve financial and operational performance. Assist in the development and maintenance of financial forecasting models to aid in budgeting and long-term planning, challenging assumptions and updating scenarios based on evolving business dynamics. Participate in the preparation of board presentations, investor materials, and other ad-hoc reports, communicating not only what has happened but what it means for future performance. Act as a strategic business partner, using financial insight to challenge assumptions, highlight emerging risks or opportunities, and influence decision-making across the organisation. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhanced analytics to strengthen the quality, efficiency, and impact of financial reporting. Develop robust scenario and sensitivity models to evaluate potential business outcomes and guide management decisions. Demonstrate strong project management, prioritisation, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience

Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, management accounting, or a similar analytical role. Demonstrated success in turning complex financial data into actionable insights that influence business strategy and decision-making. Experience supporting senior leadership or cross-functional teams with financial insight, scenario modelling, and strategic recommendations. Proven track record of driving process improvements, automation initiatives, or enhancements in financial reporting or forecasting. Experience in fast-paced or evolving environments, demonstrating adaptability, initiative, and proactive problem-solving.
