Results-driven FP&A Analyst with strong analytical and financial modelling skills, specialising in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and strategic financial planning. Experienced in supporting executive decision-making through clear financial insights and performance reporting. Proficient in tools such as Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems, with a solid understanding of key financial metrics and business drivers. Adept at collaborating across departments to align financial plans with organisational goals and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain and improve financial models to support reporting, budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
Analyse financial performance and develop commentary to provide management information explaining performance vs budget and forecast.
Provide detailed variance analysis on gross margin, production costs, material usage, labor efficiency and overhead.
Support commercial, operations and supply chain teams to identify performance improvement opportunities and enhance profitability.
Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly financial reports for internal stakeholders and executive leadership.
Assist in the preparation of the monthly forecast, annual budget and long-term strategic plans.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable insights to drive business performance.
Support scenario analysis and ad-hoc financial analysis to aid in decision-making.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial systems and reports.
Support the utilisation, governance and ongoing development of financial systems.
Collaborate with accounting to ensure timely and accurate financial closings.
Key Skills:
Part-qualified/finalist, ideally CIMA
Experience in FP&A, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong understanding of standard costing, cost accounting and inventory management.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP systems.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
