This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the FP&A team at Colliers UK. The FP&A Apprentice will play a key role in supporting the team with a range of day-to-day finance tasks, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the financial operations of a commercial real estate firm.


The successful candidate will be managed directly by the UK FP&A Manager, receiving high-level mentorship and guidance throughout their apprenticeship. The role offers the opportunity to gain practical experience while simultaneously working towards a professional finance qualification, ensuring a strong foundation of both theoretical knowledge and real-world application


The primary purpose of this role is to:

Contribute with the production of reporting & analysis of monthly and quarterly company performance Assist the team with the preparation of budgeting & forecasting for the business. Assist the Head of Strategic Planning with ad-hoc responsibilities.

Systems



Assist in testing and evaluating new financial reports as part of system changes. Gain exposure to SAP B1, SAC and S4HANA

Budgeting & Forecasting



Support the team with the preparation of annual budgets and periodic reforecasts (e.g. 2+10, 5+7 & 8+4 cycles)

Accounting



Work alongside the UK FP&A Manager and Senior Analysts to understand financial modelling techniques.

Reporting & Analysis



Assist in producing accurate and timely financial reports Help maintain KPI dashboards and other metrics that support decision-making Support variance analysis and spend reviews under guidance. Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting packs, including commentary preparation. Respond to ad-hoc queries with support from the team.

Other



Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for processes, systems and reporting. Any other task that may reasonably be required.


Qualifications



Ideal candidates will have:

Interest in developing a career in Finance and FP&A. Good communication and analytical skills. Good team player. Proactive nature, able to use own initiative and is able demonstrate a flexible attitude to the workload Focused and self-motivated qualities with excellent attention to detail Basic Excel skills - knowledge of pivot tables and VLOOKUP is an advantage. Maths A-levels
