The Opportunity:
With early success online and growing brand awareness, the business is now ready to expand into UK retail. They are seeking a fractional, senior-level commercial leader with a strong track record of launching wellness or supplement brands into retail environments.
This is a strategic consultancy-led brief, with the potential to evolve into a longer-term fractional or permanent leadership role depending on business needs and mutual fit.
Key Objectives:
Develop a clear retail readiness strategy, including category positioning, pricing, channel prioritisation and target retailers
Identify key commercial assets needed for launch, such as pitch decks, sell-in materials and POS collateral
Advise on the optimal structure, timing, and sequencing for successful retail rollout
Provide commercial insight and strategic support to accelerate the companys next phase of growth
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Proven success in launching supplement, wellness or functional nutrition brands into UK retail
Commercially astute and strategic, with experience at Commercial Director or Head of Sales level
Strong understanding of buyer expectations and solid relationships across key UK retailers
Available for an initial consultancy phase with the option to continue in a longer-term fractional capacity
Engagement Structure:
Initial strategic consultancy project focused on retail readiness
Option to extend into a fractional Commercial Lead role for execution and growth support
Flexible working arrangements available. London office presence is optional
