Part of the Galileo Educational Group and network and all the opportunities that brings, we are pleased to advertise a fantastic opportunity for two individuals to join our Acting Department as freelance Acting Tutor at our Liverpool campus.

Our Acting department is a dynamic blend of employed permanent staff and self-employed freelance practitioners. Unlike traditional educators, our tutors are active, working professionals with extensive experience across stage, screen, and voice performance. Their work spans critically acclaimed theatre productions, major film and television roles and regular contributions to UK and international touring shows. This continual engagement in the acting industry ensures our students are mentored by individuals who deeply understand current trends, casting practices, and the evolving landscape of performance arts.

At the core of their teaching is the drive to empower the next generation of actors with relevant, real-world insight and the tools to build sustainable, fulfilling careers in a competitive industry.

We are seeking freelance Acting tutors at our Liverpool campus role, these roles are ideal for individuals who have a background in industry and can combine this with a passion for the growth and development of our students, imparting your knowledge, skills and experience to them. LMA is committed to giving our students a real taste of industry and this sets us apart from other institutions.

Our freelance tutors will be teaching voice, movement, screen and theatre direction. Specialists are ideal but those with multiple skills are obviously encouraged. Flexible hours are available to support your industry commitments.

Teach students across all ability levels. Plan and deliver engaging and progressive lessons that support technical growth and performance skills. Provide constructive feedback and individual support to help students reach their full potential. Prepare students for showcases, assessments, and performance opportunities. Maintain a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
Ideally, you'll:

an Ex/industry expert with proven experience teaching at HE level. be able to inspire, support, and challenge students at varying stages of their dance journey. have Excellent class management and communication skills.
Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 25 per week
