Freelance ADOS-2 & ADI-R Assessment Clinician (Remote)

330-350 per assessment

We are looking for a skilled and experienced clinician to deliver remote autism assessments using the ADOS-2 and ADI-R tools. This freelance role involves conducting structured diagnostic assessments for individuals being evaluated for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), supported by a collaborative clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct ADOS-2 assessments across a range of age groups Administer ADI-R interviews to collect comprehensive developmental histories Provide accurate, evidence-based ASD diagnoses in line with best clinical practice Produce detailed and timely assessment reports Collaborate with the wider autism team to maintain high-quality standards in care

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience delivering independent autism assessments Trained and experienced in ADOS-2 and/or ADI-R (minimum 1 year) Professionally qualified and registered in one of the following fields: Occupational Therapy Clinical, Counselling, or Forensic Psychology Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing Paediatrics Registered with the HCPC or NMC Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families Self-motivated and well-organised, with the ability to manage your own caseload remotely Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months (or willingness to obtain one) - candidates on the update service may be fast-tracked

Schedule:

Minimum of 1 day per week (includes a paid 1-week induction)

Pay:

330-350 per assessment (freelance/locum basis)
