Freelance Tutors and Assessors

to join us in

About the Role

As part of our freelance delivery team, you'll use your expertise to deliver engaging workshops, provide expert guidance, and assess learners working towards their

Level 2 Gym Instructor

and

Level 3 Personal Trainer

qualifications.

You'll represent YOUR Academy's high standards, ensuring every learner receives a motivating, supportive, and professional learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver inspiring, high-quality workshops that bring fitness theory and practice to life. Assess learners' competence and provide constructive feedback in line with awarding body standards. Support learners throughout their qualification journey, maintaining regular communication and motivation. Complete all required administrative tasks, including learner progress tracking and assessment documentation. Adhere to YOUR Academy's policies and schemes of work to ensure consistency and compliance. Attend standardisation meetings and engage in ongoing professional development.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Teaching qualification (AET / PTLLS / CTLLS / DTLLS / Cert Ed or equivalent). Assessor qualification (AVRA / CAVA / A1 / Assessing in the Active Leisure Sector or equivalent). Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Personal Training. Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instruction (Gym-based). Minimum 3 years' experience as a practising Personal Trainer. Minimum 1 year's experience in tutoring and/or assessing fitness qualifications. Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
