About us

Always Flowers is a small local business who have been established for more than 30 years. Looking for a experienced retail shop based florist. Minimum of 3 years of working in a shop as a florist required. Must be able to be confident in all aspects of floristry. Conditioning, funeral work, hand ties, answering phone, doing deliveries are some of the duties required. Some heavy lifting will be required, serious applicants only.

Duties:

- Create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events
- Assist customers in selecting the appropriate flowers and arrangements for their needs- Maintain inventory of floral supplies and order new stock as needed- Arrange flowers in vases, bouquets, and other containers- Ensure that all floral arrangements are well-maintained and presented in an attractive manner- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately

delivery of flowers to local addresses in the area Requirements:- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and keep track of orders- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and floral arrangements- Proficient in English to communicate effectively with customers and team members- Experience in cash handling and operating a cash register is preferred- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail- Creativity and artistic ability to design unique floral arrangements- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as neededFull clean driving licence requiredNote: Previous experience as a florist is requiredWe offer competitive pay rates and a supportive work environment.
