Capital Fundraising

- Our Theatre is at the outset of an exciting expansion opportunity. We will shortly be the proud owners of a second building that needs substantial development to turn it into a public facing Community Arts Hub, with a special interest in older people. We are seeking interest from freelance fundraisers specialising in Capital projects to help us;

Raise initial funds to progress the project through the planning permission process. Raise approx. 4-5m for the build project. This might be tackled in 1 or 2 stages of development.
The project aims to produce spaces that will;

Celebrate ageing, reduce isolation and encourage active older lives. Support our creative professionals. Support creative opportunities for young people and non-professionals. Support activities for disabled and Neurodivergent participants.
The opportunity is huge and the potential for impact everlasting, but we need expertise and resources to tackle this project.

Multi-year National Arts Fundraising

- After a long period without regular or multi-year funding from national bodies, our new and innovative outreach and community programme has helped us to secure our first major arts body funding in a long time. We are seeking fundraisers or consultants with experience in securing grants at this level to help us continue this exciting programme of work, and to reduce reliance on small local grants. They would help us by;

Working closely with Senior Management and key teams to continue to develop our long-term strategy, especially around how to deliver and fund our community outreach work. Raise funds of 25K-50K per annum through larger (+10K) grants, where possible on a multi-year basis.
Experience of fundraising for socially impactful cultural projects is especially of value, and those able to bring contacts, and/or experience of working with grant administrators and Trustees from grant-making trusts.
